Stemmen /The Voice, the Vote
Solo exhibition by Marie Thams

Opening Saturday 14.11. at 14.00-16.00

With the exhibition Stemmen artist Marie Thams marks the hundredth anniversary of Danish women's right to vote.

The exhibition will present the sound piece Det handler (ikke) om/It's (not) about and the performative work Det vi har til fælles/What we have in common. In Laven locals from the village will be performing and invited to participate in the exhibition.

The exhibition is curated by Line Sandvad Mengers and can be viewed by appointment.

Performance - Det vi har til fælles - dates

If in Viborg, DK, the next months - then look out for my performance Det vi har til fælles [What we have in common], which is happening on selected Saturdays during the exhibition Handlingens resonans [The resonance of action]. An exhibition made on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of women’s right to vote in Denmark, in which gender and political positioning are the central questions and in which action and today’s feminism are taken into account.
